Big Brother Canada 5 starts on March 15, 2017 as the return of BBCAN comes to Global with another three nights a week on a new schedule and with a new after-show to boot. Settle in for the hype and fun of another hopefully great season.
The new season won’t kick off until mid-March, a little late for the Canada series which seems to shift and slide a lot over the past few years but it should be well worth the wait from what we’ve come to know of BBCAN.
Big Brother Canada 5 Cast:
The BBCAN5 cast has been announced and consists of 16 HGs with 8 veteran returning players and 8 all new casts. Yes, it’s only the 5th season and they’re already filling half the ranks with old players. BBCAN does so much right that it’s disappointing to see this so soon, but that’s the game this season. At least they’re mostly interesting vets (Dallas??).
Big Brother Canada 5 House:
The BBCAN5 house is all about space with its space odyssey theme featuring futuristic designs and styles throughout. The house looks gorgeous, but would anyone be surprised by how well they did with that as they always seem to do?
Big Brother Canada 5 Spoilers:
We’ll have all the spoilers from the Feeds throughout the week with details on who won HoH, who was nominated, and how the Power of Veto played out. You can always check out our Big Brother Canada spoilers page for a quick glance update on the latest.
Big Brother Canada 5 Schedule:
There will be a few changes for the new season when it premieres March 15th. Gone are the Sunday episodes as BBCAN5’s schedule picks up a Monday installment at 9PM ET/PT along with the regular Wednesdays at 9PM ET/PT and Thursdays at 8PM ET/PT. Thursdays will host the eviction events as usual and I’d expect those to be pre-taped as usual though I’d be quite happy to find out they finally decided to do their “live shows” as actually “live broadcasts.”
Season finale looks to be May 18, 2017 per the intro segment showing that date listed for the BBCAN5 finale date.
As for the new element this season in its schedule, host Arisa Cox will be delivering an “After The Live Eviction” show streamed on FB. This show will replace the old Side Show and so far there’s been no mention of Peter Brown, a regular on that for the past few years, or Sarah Hanlon, last year’s co-host.
