Big Brother Canada Week 7: Power of Veto Episode Tonight

Big Brother Canada & host Arisa Cox

Big Brother Canada is back tonight on Slice at 9PM ET/PT as we march along in what I thought was going to be another Double Eviction week but seems to be normal. Well, as normal as anything involving Talla can be. They did say Double Eviction this week, right? There’s still Thursday’s show so…

Along with the regular HG banter we’ll watch this week’s Power of Veto competition and follow-on Veto ceremony. One HG will have the power to overturn the HoH’s nominations and force a renom, if the holder wants that to happen.

The Veto competition and ceremony have already been held in the house, but tonight’s show will get you all caught up. Of course you can just check our spoilers page for all those details in one spot.

We’ve been keeping an eye on the houseguests in the Big Brother Canada house and have some good guesses at what will happen at the next eviction. Read up on those details to get ahead and prepare for Thursday night’s show as well.

  1. It’s funny how things can come full circle in this game. I kind of would like to see Emmett and Jillian have to scramble for once. (I will be thrilled to see Alec leave) I think they have had it pretty easy considering how fast they flaunted being a couple and it is surprising that someone didn’t try to split them up sooner.

    • how he really has done nothing and just takes credit for someone being evicted! Every hoh had a target and went for that target he didn’t influence anyone or has been in danger because he’s done nothing he basically been like Talla the whole game.

      • You’re right about Peter taking credit where it may not be due, but to say he’s like Talla is an insult. Peter has been horrible at competitions. It was his and Alec’s plan to throw as many comps as possible. It made them seem like weaker targets in the minds of their fellow house guests. What you seem to be forgetting is that Peter has an AMAZING social game. He managed to ally himself with a lot of people and still walk away clean. Remember his fairly obvious alliance with Liza? He walked away unscratched from that. The only reason the heat is on Alec and Peter now is because everyone now knows what their plan was. I am in no way rooting for Peter to win. In a way he deserves it but over the last few weeks he’s been lacking in a lot of aspects. I’m going with biggy big’s comment. I’d like to see Emmet and Jillian squirm for once. This is why I am hoping either Topaz or Peter win HoH tomorrow during the Double Eviction show.

        • Peter may have a “amazing” social game, but if you have watched the BBafter dark, then you know peter and alec have no real alliances with anyone else (maybe topaz) and are doomed to eviction very soon… its definitely the beast coast alliance of Emmett, Jillian and Andrew with Talla solidly backing them up… they are not going to budge from there alliance so Peter or Alec (or Topaz) will not have the numbers to do anything before its all over…. therefore peter having a good social game (cause he’s a no threat loser) is useless.

          • I should have made it a point that my comment was mostly in regards to how Peter shouldn’t be compared to Talla. The reason Peter and Alec have made it this far was because of their early social game. They forged alliances and did a good job staying under the radar. Talla has been nothing but a floater and had no “real” alliance until now. Just because she might make it farther in the game over Peter doesn’t mean shes better. She was just lucky when Jillian, Emmet, and Andrew wanted to form this beast coast alliance. Now imagine if Peter played a poor social game. He would have been sent out the door long before this beast coast alliance was formed. Just so you’re aware I watch BB after dark every night. That is why in my first comment I wrote: “over the last few weeks he’s been lacking in a lot of aspects”. That was me stating that Peter has little to NO game left and is in deep trouble. Peter has been trying to forge new alliances but it is indeed too late. Peter, Alec, and Topaz had their chance but blew it. For future reference I look at a house guest for all they are worth. Are they good at comps? Have they made good alliances? Did they play the best game they could? It’s a long shot for Peter if he’s gonna win this game. Right now my money is on either Jillian or Emmet. Both are deserving of winning Big Brother.
