Nico became the first houseguests evicted, but decided to self-evict instead of letting the other houseguests vote him out over Susanne. The next eviction resulted in our first blindside and backdoor of the season when Chris nominated Micheal. Both evictions set a crazy tone for Big Brother Canada 8 and evictions. It meant that no one would know what would happen until after the Veto ceremony. It’s been two weeks of complicated eviction results. Now it looks like BBCAN8 is going for a three-peat with Sheldon’s reign of power and his new backdoor plan.
Sheldon is a very strategic player, and so far, it has worked for him. However, a Big Brother sized wrench got thrown into the game with this Veto competition being played in pairs. The winning pair would both become immune from this week’s eviction.
So of course, Madeline and John-Luke paired up and won the Veto competition. This shouldn’t have changed much because Rianne was always Brooke and Sheldon’s main target, but, surprisingly, this win changed the complete course of this week. Now Sheldon’s target moved from Rianne to Minh-Ly. Now Minh-Ly is likely to cause a major explosion this week, so we’re excited to see how it all plays out.
Did Sheldon stick to his plan to nominate Minh?
BBCAN8 Week 3 Power of Veto Ceremony Results:
- Maddy used the Veto on herself. Sheldon named Minh-Ly as the replacement nominee.
We can’t wait to see what comes from the rest of the week. How do you feel about the battle ahead between Rianne and Minh-Ly to stay in the house?
