It’s been hinted about all week of Big Brother Canada 11. Santina has spoken about wanting to backdoor John Michael. We still don’t know exactly why, but that has been her plan for almost the entire week. Things then started to fit together when Ty won the Power of Veto. However, saying you’re going to backdoor someone and actually doing it are two different things. We weren’t sure if Santina would back out of it. The Tuesday Big Brother Canda 11 Digital Dailies answered the question: did Santina backdoor, John Michael?
If Santina made this bold move, she may paint a huge target on her own back. On last Thursday’s BBCAN11 episode, Santina and John Michael made a deal to not nominate each other. Targeting JM after promising him that he wouldn’t be nominated this week doesn’t make Santina look like someone you can trust. She also may look like a puppet in someone else’s game. It’s a bold move so early in the Big Brother Canada 11 season. It’s especially bold when it benefits other players more than her.

If John Michael manages to escape eviction this week, then this whole nomination could backfire in Santina’s face. John Michael is well-liked by many of the houseguests, so it’s not guaranteed that he leaves the game this week. He also may be able to convince the houseguests to keep him. It’ll be an interesting start to the season if John Michael escapes eviction.
