It’s another Big Brother Canada 10 week where the Head of Household must pivot their game after one of the nominees won the Power of Veto Competition. HOH Jessica Gowling started the week trying to get either Moose Bendago or Hermon Nizghi out of the game. Instead of the Big Brother Canada backdoor, they wanted to give both men a chance at the Veto.
This resulted in Hermon continuing the streak of nominees winning the Veto. With Hermon as the Veto winner, Jess then had to decide whether to continue on the course to get out Moose or try to get someone else out instead. They discussed that Tynesha White would potentially be a replacement nominee if one of the initial nominees came off the block, even before making their first nominations.
Jess seems to really want to work with Steven “Gino” Giannopoulos, so despite him putting them on the block, they had no intentions of targeting Gino. Jess used their HOH to try to build relationships and a possible alliance with Gino, Jacey-Lynne Graham, Josh Nash, Haleena Gill, Martin “Marty” Frenette, and Kevin Jacobs. They see many players not in this group as the other side, so they wanted to make a move against the other side.
For a couple of reasons, Jess saw Tynesha as the best move. They thought Tynesha was tight with Moose and Hermon, who they wanted to weaken. They also saw Tynesha as a gamer and more understanding of the nomination. They would still prefer Moose to leave, but wouldn’t be devastated if Tynesha left. They also told Tynesha that she had a better chance of ensuring Moose’s eviction because fewer people would likely vote her out over him.
