Big Brother Canada 5 Spoilers: Week 2 Veto Ceremony Results

Power of Veto ceremony results are in on the Live Feeds for this week’s Big Brother Canada 5 events and we have the results giving us this week’s final noms for Thursday’s eviction.

Big Brother Canada Power of Veto

We were left anxiously awaiting the final decision after some surprising flip flopping this morning with a wavering target but now the Feeds are back and we have the details.

As originally expected, Demetres went with the plan to get Dallas on the Block. This just a short time after he promised Dallas safety this morning following two days of him expecting to go up. Emotional whiplash for Dallas.

Power of Veto Ceremony Spoilers – Week 2:

  • Dillon used the Veto on himself
  • Demetres named Dallas as the renom
  • Dallas & Emily are the final noms

Either Dallas or Emily will be evicted. Demetres hopes to get Emily out to weaken Dillon, but there’s going to be a lot of consideration with the actual voters to take out Dallas this week. I think he’s in danger here, but we’re still days away from Thursday’s vote.

Ohh, and Dillon is pissed off. He feels he was slighted and disrespected during the ceremony. Dillon just yelled at Dallas because Dallas said he, Dillon, was now in a bad position in the game. Seriously, he’s upset over there. No foul language or petty slams, just that Dillon is in a bad spot in the game. Well Dillon was sure to point out that he won’t sell his respect for $100K and, get this, announces his shoe collection is worth nearly $100K. So he doesn’t want Dallas to make him look bad, but he’ll make himself look like an ass with that comment. Okay, Dillon.

What do you think of Demetres’s final decision for the renom? What should he have done here this week?

  1. I just realized that there is always an alpha male jerk every season
    Season 1 had Tom
    Season 2 had Andrew
    Season 3 had Graig
    Season 4 had Jared.
    Now we have Dillon.

Yeah not a fan of Dillon.

    • Tbh any beefy guy that BB has every casted fits the alpha male jerk stereotype. Dillon fits the stereotype (saying that he was made for this game and etc.) but is a little different in the aspect that from the start, he has no control in the house. Demetres currently has control and is acting full on alpha and HOHitis right now…

        • BB cast three different types of “Big guys”. Type 1: Alpha male, in your face, controlling, takes power early on and tries to dictate the game from the get go. goes out usually within the first 4 weeks. Examples: Tom (S1), Andrew (S2), Graig (S3, with a dash of surfer guy thrown in), S4 didn’t really have a good example but Jase would have been it if he had made it in.
Type 2: Quiet Alpha, is more laid back than type 1, often alines with them and uses them as a shield, much better social game but can come off as really boring. Big on showmances. Also plays hard to get in power but is less visible then type 1. Every season has one, US famous ones would be Hayden Moss, Drew (US, S5), Clay Honeycut. In Canada we have Emmett, John Pardy, Zach and Jared (though he’s kind of an inbetweener with type 1).
Type 3: More Beta than the others, doesn’t really get in majority alliances early one, just kind of hangs out with a few select players they like. usually not great at the game. Under pressure they can show a much meaner or aggressive side that they otherwise wouldn’t show. Jeff from BB17 (the amazing race guy) is a god example of this, this is also where I would put Kyle from BB can S2. This is how I see Dillon, if you left him alone to hang with his two pals and isolate himself from the rest of the game he’d probably be fine but when under assault he gets rather aggressive and mean spirited.

  2. I think if it were up to Demetres he would rather evict Dallas, no? On the feeds, Cass and Ika have brought up multiple times to him to not renom Dallas but Dem just really seems to hate his guts and find him shady.
Emily has been floating will most likely just float (Rachel Reilly sense) until Thursday. Not entertaining but we’ll see if this is good enough to save her
