Big Brother Canada Week 4: Nominations Episode 09 Tonight

| March 17, 2013 at 10:30 AM EDT

Big Brother Canada & host Arisa Cox

Big Brother Canada is back tonight with more than just our usual nomination episode. Remember that Thursday HoH competition where Emmett won? Well forget it because that’s all changed.

Thanks to some surprising drama in the house, and outside of the house, Big Brother went back and reviewed the tapes before making a big decision. We’ve heard snippets of what happened, but tonight’s show will reveal more of the story so don’t miss it on Slice at 9PM ET/PT.

There’s been even more going on in the house though. We’ve seen the HGs’ nomination ceremony already unfold and the Power of Veto competition held. Big Brother Canada spoilers are available for both of those if you can’t wait until night: Nomination spoilers & Veto spoilers.

Big Brother Canada Spoilers: Week 4 Nominations

| March 16, 2013 at 10:32 PM EDT

This week’s nominations for Big Brother Canada are in and considering the incredible drama that’s been going on over the past few days these results are going to surprise some folks who only watch the broadcast shows. Of course I’m talking about the HoH competition where some rule-bending was identified, addressed, and corrected in the house yesterday. That made a huge impact on these nominations.

The two nominees had a chance to compete in this week’s Power of Veto ceremony for a chance to be removed from the block and swapped out for a renom of another HG. If nothing changes then one of these two nominations will be evicted at the next Thursday’s episode.

Read on to find out who is on the chopping block this week.

Big Brother Canada Week 4 HoH Redo Results

| March 15, 2013 at 11:30 PM EDT

Craziness. After all the chaos of “Pollengate” (tell me if that -gate thing doesn’t convey to Canadian audiences) Slice came out and did the right thing. They said they were listening to their audience and they were going to investigate the situation. Kudos. Major kudos to Slice because after years of sketchy things going on in the BBUS game I can’t recall a competition redo or imagine them admitting something like this.

So now, after the Feeds were down all day and tonight’s After Dark was cancelled we actually have an update. Yes, the Feeds are back, and yes, the situation was addressed. If you want to know what happened then continue on, but if you’d rather avoid these Big Brother Canada spoilers then turn back now and wait for Sunday’s episode.

Big Brother Canada Investigating Emmett’s HoH Win For Possible Cheating – Updates

Big Brother Canada - Emmett

Update 2: BBCA has addressed the situation. Get the update and latest news here.

Last night on Big Brother Canada Emmett was crowned the new HoH after winning the “Bee’s Knees” competition, but claims from viewers that Emmett may have cheated during the game.

The issue at hand goes to instructions given to the HGs that they were not allowed to carry any of the game balls in their hands but rather had to tuck them inside holsters for transport back to their respective stations. Twitter viewers lead an outcry that Emmett did not adhere to those rules and the above picture featuring Emmett holding a ball as he runs back certainly supports their concernts.

During the broadcast we did hear Arisa have to remind several HGs (Talla & Jillian) that hands were off-limits, but those reminders appeared to have been ignored.

The Edmonton Journal reports on the situation:
