Big Brother Canada: Week 1 Live Eviction & HoH Results

| February 28, 2013 at 10:12 PM EDT

Big Brother Canada

Tonight on Big Brother Canada we’re about to get the first live eviction results and the next Head of Household competition. I’ll be right here updating all through the episode.

Last night’s show ended right when the Veto competition ended with Tom winning the Veto and although we know who was renominated, thanks to the Veto ceremony spoilers, we’ll have to sit through the show playing that out.

We get some fun manufactured drama surrounding Gary and his affinity for glitter which involved such unfortunate soundbits like a room full of guys saying they all had some glitter in their mouths. Moving on. Aneal tries his best to sabotage Gary by pouring glitter all over the house, so let’s see if it works. Hint: it doesn’t.

At the Veto ceremony Tom uses the PoV to save himself. In response, Suzette puts Kat up in his place presumably for annoying Suzette to form an alliance. Either Kat or Emmett will be evicted by the end of the night on Big Brother Canada.

Suzette announces a reward challenge. HGs have to be handcuffed for the night and will be rewarded if they complete a task though we’re not sure what that is just yet. Not everyone is thrilled about their pairings (Tom & Gary) but then you’ve got Alec and Jillian where Alec decides this is the ideal time to take a shower…

Big Brother Canada: Week 1 Live Eviction Show Tonight

| February 28, 2013 at 2:40 PM EDT

Big Brother Canada & host Arisa Cox

Are you ready for the first live Big Brother Canada show of the season? It arrives tonight on Slice at 10PM and includes a familiar face with the arrival of Dan Gheesling. No, he won’t become a HG but he will supposedly be there to lend his commentary and share a few thoughts.

Tonight’s episode will be very busy with the Veto Ceremony results, live eviction, and we’re expecting the first HoH competition since Suzette magically becoming HoH by picking up the phone doesn’t really count as a competition.

If you can’t wait for the show at 10PM then you can find out the Veto spoilers and discover who was renom’d after Tom won safety during last night’s show.

What do you think of Big Brother Canada so far? We’re excited to have more BB fun to enjoy while we await the arrival of Big Brother 15!

Big Brother Canada Spoilers: Week 1 Veto Ceremony Results

Suzette Amaya on Big Brother CanadaOur first Big Brother Canada spoilers of the season have arrived! Last night on the premiere episode (read our recap here) we saw Suzette become the first HoH just by picking up a phone, but the real challenge was immediately nominating two HGs. Unfortunately for her, Tom and Emmett didn’t just roll over and take their noms kindly. Instead Tom won the Veto, took himself off the block, and forced Suzette to make a third enemy in no time at all.

If you want to wait and be surprised on tonight’s episode of Big Brother then don’t read any further. Otherwise, carry on for the spoilers to find out who Suzette named as a replacement nominee.

Big Brother Canada Premiere Live Recap

| February 27, 2013 at 9:06 PM EDT

Big Brother Canada

Oh boy, here we go! It’s Big Brother Canada time as the premiere night hits and we’re ready to enjoy the 15 new Houseguests as they compete for $100,000 over 75 days under our constant surveillance. “Big Brother is watching!”

Host Arisa Cox arrives and excites the audience by reminding them that after fourteen seasons of following the fun to their south it’s their turn to host their own Big Brother.

Before we get to meet the HGs we get a quick tour of the house. Oh cool, they’ve got a “Have-Not” room styled like a seedy hotel while the HoH gets their own fancy room.

Ahh, here are the HGs. Sure enough they get cheesy “oh, I found this key and am so surprised!” segments for each of them. Lots of fun personalities. Can’t wait to see how they meld and how we begin to love or hate them. What’s cool here is that we get a lot of “I’m a huge Big Brother fan!” HGs so that should be awesome.

Deviating from the US version the HGs meet each other for the first time in front of a live studio audience. This is nice. I wish we could get that for the US version, but I guess leaks like this are why they don’t do that! The HGs go inside the house in groups of five at a time before all fifteen are there.
